Who is Akeem Smith
Hard-working: I spent my life continuously making the effort to always overcoming the impossible. Beyond my work ethic you will see consistency, a leader, a student, and some that is adaptable to change with anyone that has a passion for what they want in life.
Disciplined: I was raised by my two amazing woman. My mother and my grandmother. Both gave me a different point of view and both taught me the what life has to offer but i must work for it consistently. My god-mother taught me that there are no short cuts while my mom gave me hope that it will always get better no mater what. I keep my head down and looked up when god told me to.
Educated: High school i graduate with all A's because the work seemed boring and then i went to Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC. were i became a super senior lol as i like to call it. I was there for 7 years as i worked on my B.S. in Computer Information Systems. My day job is i leader a team in Fraud working at one of the Largest Banks by market capitalization. I'm the jack of all trades.
Family-Man: I have a handsome and smart son that is practically a genius. He's literally the reflection of me and his mother. I have awesome nieces's and nephews that are making me feel old. I tend to hang out with my family on my spare time for random pops or fun evenings during summer and spring time. Overall, i enjoy kids and the knowledge they hold.
Friend: i have a very small circle that knows the in-depth upbringing of my life and myself. They have been my therapist, mentors, and educators as my life changes with obstacles on a daily. They have taught me how to be able to open my arms to those in need and those who are lost. The strength me and me the best reflection of myself today.
Humbled: i am like a rock that never breaks but get tossed everywhere. I have been through life's worse from living in my car, financially destroyed,and to even having CPR done due to a motorcycle accident. Life has presented me with a lot and i do not regret anything. My goal is to pass this knowledge to anyone that just wants to know. Simple! I'm proud and that my biggest treasure.
Open-book: I am very opened based on what a person interest is. I love meeting anyone and everyone. No matter who or what you are. I just ask that you reciprocate the same back and don't be afraid.
